Nigeria will tackle Benin Republic who topped group B to qualify for the Semi final of the WAFU Nations Cup.
Both teams clash for the third time in two months as they first met in a two-legged 2018 CHAN qualifiers.
Seibou Mama’s solitary goal helped Benin defeat Nigeria in the first leg but the Eagles won 2-0 in Kano.
Group B Proceedings
Benin feared elimination on Tuesday, at the Nduom Sports Stadium, as Adebayor Zakaria scored for Niger after four minutes.
However, Niger had two players red-carded and on the 37th minute, Rodrigue Fassinou leveled for Benin.
The numerical advantage eventually paid off as Jules Elegbede scored the winner for Benin to sink the 9-man Niger team.
Final Group Standings
Coming into the last group B games, the Squirrels had only an outside chance of qualifying behind either Niger or Senegal.
But Senegal played a goalless draw against Ivory Coast, to finish third behind Benin and Niger. Meanwhile, Ivory Coast finished bottom of the group.
Semi Final Pairings
The semi final matches come up Thursday with Nigeria playing against Benin, while hosts Ghana take on Niger.
Both matches will be played at the Cape Coast Stadium at 4pm and 7pm Nigeria Time respectively.
